강서지역문화기록센터는 강서구 지역문화의 기록과 보존, 그리고 공개를 목적으로 설립한 아카이브 기관입니다. 본 센터는 지역의 역사와 문화자원이 공공 차원에서 체계적으로 축적되지 못하고 있는 현실을 인식하고, 이를 기록·수집·연구·공개하는 역할을 수행합니다. 또한 시민, 예술가, 연구자와 함께 지역의 기억을 공동으로 구축하며, 향후 지역문화 정책과 공공 아카이브 구축의 기반이 되는 것을 목표로 합니다. 

 The Gangseo Regional Cultural Archives is an archive institution established for the purpose of recording, preserving, and making public the local culture of Gangseo-gu. Recognizing the reality that local historical and cultural resources are not being systematically accumulated at the public level, the Center fulfills the role of recording, collecting, researching, and making these resources public. Furthermore, it aims to collaboratively construct the region's memory with citizens, artists, and researchers, serving as a foundation for future regional cultural policies and the establishment of public archives.
